Alashiya

Alashiya is a minor playable Settled Canaanite faction in Total War: Pharaoh. It starts the campaign in the Yamhad, located in Alashiya Province. Alashiya's starting deity is Baal.

Alashiya serves as a vassal state of the Hittite empire, governed by the kings of Ugarit. The island's abundant copper deposits attract foreign merchants to its shores, keen to erect coastal towns the facilitate maritime trade with the Levant. Among these settlers, the Mycenaeans have left the most prominent mark on Alashiya's diverse cultural landscape. According to their mythology, Aphrodite, the goddess of love, is said to have been from the foam to the south of the island.
