Description[]
The god of thunder and the sky, Zeus was the king of all gods and men, ruler of Olympus, and the chief figure in Achaean mythology. He was perhaps best known for his rampaging infidelity; Greek myths depict him as a notorious womaniser who sired children left and right by laying with mortals and immortals alike. Helen of Troy was herself the product of his affair with the human princess Leda, while the great Trojan hero Sarpedon was born of his union with a woman named Laodamia.
