Ancillaries can be gained by the player over the course of a campaign in the a Total War Saga: Troy. Similar to Ancillary system in previous games, ancillaries can be attached to or equipped by heroes and agents. When assigned, they provide various bonuses and enable new abilities. A character may hold one weapon, armour and mount each and a maximum of five general ancillaries.
