Copper Mining Town
Copper Mine is a building chain in Total War: Three Kingdoms. Its main purpose is to provide copper to the faction that built it. Furthermore, it gives prestige bonuses, income from industry, reserve capacity and a small discount to the construction of Learning and Market buildings. The alternative branch sacrifices a small amount of income for a faction-wide reduction in corruption.

Abandoned Copper Vein
Abandoned Copper Vein (level 0)[]
The people here keep to themselves; untouched and unchecked by the guiding hand of government. The people here are inward looking and able to operate outside of government influence, which has the disadvantage of not knowing what threats lie in wait beyond their boundaries. Establishing an authoritative presence here would do much for the wellbeing of the people, providing both them and the country with additional prosperity.

Copper Vein
Copper Vein (level 1)[]
Metal the colour of the sun. Copper is a versatile metal, used for forging tools, weapons and coins, but first it must be found and extracted from the earth. Copper veins can be found by searching lakes and rivers for copper residue and then using the flow of water to trace the residue back to a source. Once discovered, an expedition is arranged to tap the veins for copper so it can be forged into useful objects. This district has proven to be rich in the useful metal, and deserving of investment, increasing trade and income for the district.

Copper Pits
Copper Pits (level 2)[]
Mining copper is easier when its face is exposed. Where the land is rich with copper, and not buried deep underground, it can be mined more easily with the creation of a copper pit. Once a surface copper source is confirmed, conscript labourers excavate a perimeter around it, and dig a series of steps into the ground to provide easy access for miners. As the pit is mined, it continues to be enlarged outwards until all the copper has been found and extracted or what remains is no longer profitable enough to warrant further manpower and funds.

Copper Mine
Copper Mine (level 3)[]
The depths hold a rich vein of minerals. No matter who rules China, its gifts from the land remain the same, and are as vital to its prosperity as ever. The finding and mining of copper to make weapons, coins, and artistic pieces is a profitable enterprise. A copper mine enables miners to dig deeper into the ground, following each vein until it is exhausted. The work is back breaking, and often dangerous, but where willing workers are scarce, convicted criminals can be pressed into service as punishment and for atonement.

Copper Mining Village
Copper Mining Village (level 4)[]
A community that works towards one goal. To take full advantage of the rich supply of copper nearby, this village has been developed to fully focus on mining. With most villagers employed as miners, blacksmiths, labourers, artisans or merchants in the mining operation, the yields are greater and the shared expertise grows quickly. This small but self-sustaining economy helps the village thrive as a community, as well as increasing the quality of the copper goods, and therefore raising the revenue generated from them.

Copper Mining Town
Copper Mining Town (level 5A)[]
Industry grows with the population. Revenue from this district's copper industry is reinvested to develop the village into a full town. Thus, the people here have regular work, homes and income, and are somewhat more in control of their own fates. Mining is still dangerous and hard work, but the labourers can see the rewards of it as the town grows in trade and industry. The expertise and wealth generated from the town opens new opportunities for its inhabitants, should they wish to explore other avenues in the future.

Copper Coin Mint
Copper Coin Mint (level 5B)[]
Regulated production strengthens legal tender. The coins minted here require specialist tools; such tools are too costly for counterfeiters to purchase, being only cost-effective when used for mass production. The coins are flat, circular and have a hole in the centre so they can be strung together with string for carrying. The standardisation of coins renders the old tender, such as miniatures of spades or knives, little more than curiosities. And of course, a circular shape is less likely to tear through the pockets of its owners and spill onto the ground.
