The Eastern General is one of 6 styles of General's Bodyguard available in Rome: Total War (the other 5 being Roman, Greek, Barbarian, Egyptian, and Carthaginian). The Eastern General, like all general's units, varies by size with the character in question, but the typical starting size is 24 (on large unit scale). The Eastern General, like all general units, consists of very powerful cavalry capable of delivering powerful charges. Each individual in the unit also has 2 hitpoints, making it a step above other shock cavalry. The Eastern General is unique in its missile capability, able to act as missile cavalry with javelins. The Eastern General is available to Pontus, Armenia, and Parthia.
