Approve: Makes sense to me. JoePlay (talk)
Approve: Personally, I've never played Shogun, so I'm not 100% aware of the situation. But from what's summed up here I think I'm in favor of this. Andreioplst
Disprove: As the administrator of this wiki, I have the final say and I must tell you I am not in favor of this at all. It goes against the established order and it is not exactly good and well to stray too far from the guidelines I have set. Plus, these units should have different unit images. Sorry. --Byzantine Latinkon 22:58, March 3, 2011 (UTC)
- Being administrator does not give you the final say, being Sysop does not make you autocrat. See this Admin's FAQ guide.
- We have 2 major users and a staff figure for the motion. The policy ought to pass. Fidei Defensor 23:48, March 3, 2011 (UTC)
- Agreed with Fidei here. Being an admin doesn't mean that you get to be the supreme overlord of a wikia. It means that you get to maintain it, and assure that it functions properly. So admin votes have the same value as user votes, and an admin cannot simply close a discussion because he is against the proposal established. Andreioplst 16:18, March 4, 2011 (UTC)
- I'm more than willing to be patient and reasonable, but just because some user thinks it's a good idea does not mean that you can change the established guidelines of wiki, and I will not allow it. In fact, this is such a trivial matter (Over whether there's one article or a few) that I am not going to waste my time on this discussion any longer. --Byzantine Latinkon 23:36, March 4, 2011 (UTC)
- A staff member and two users are not "some user". Besides, it's not your choice. You can accept this or let our appeal be taken to a higher court. You're defying Administrator guidelines and that's not going to look good on you.
- There are no established guidelines as of yet. I did try however. Fidei Defensor 22:10, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
- I've established guidelines already. And I approve your policies article to be the official policies part of the wiki. And don't tell me that I'm defying administrator guidelines. The only reason I even came to this wiki and adopted it is because I was sick of another Total War site where all the articles were merged into one. Example: See my article Guards. Guards are all the same Western European models in Empire: Total War, no change whatsoever. Yet I tried to create a unique unit page guideline which means every unit in the Total War Series must get its own article, not get a general one just because the only difference is the color. --Byzantine Latinkon 01:41, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
Approve - Honestly, I think all of the pages ought to be condensed, but I digress. I agree with the proposal. YuriKaslov 23:51, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
