Hephaisteion or Hephaestion is a region specific building, in a Total War Saga: Troy, which can be built in Poliochne, Kos, Ios, and Thisbe.
Description[]
As god of fire and the forge, Hephaestus was closely associated with volcanic activity, believed to be the result of the artisan’s great work. This was especially true on the island of Lemnos, where an ancient cult of Hephaestus, predating Mycenaean times, thrived for centuries. Other volcanically active islands of the Aegean Sea were also thought to host the fiery Olympian’s workshops, including Melos, Ios and Kos. Finally, as the male counterpart to the goddess Athena, Hephaestus was worshipped in Athens as well, where festivals in his honour were held regularly.
