Indian Levy Archers are a type of missile unit available to the Indians in Rome: Total War: Alexander.
Description[]
Though not professional soldiers, as hunters these men are used to their skill with the bow being all that stands between them and death. Forced into service by their ruler, they have merely exchanged shooting at deer for shooting a men, and should their shafts miss now, at least their deaths will be swifter than the slow agonies of starvation! They are also trained by the hunt in stalking prey and are skilled at finding cover and remaining unseen until the time is ripe to loose their arrows. Like most missile troops, they are poorly equipped for melee and should be kept clear of such dangers at all times.
