Indian Longbowmen are a type of missile unit available to the Indians in Rome: Total War: Alexander.
Description[]
Armed with a powerful heavy bamboo bow of 5 or 6 foot length, these men are able to rain a deadly barrage of huge cane arrows tipped with iron or horn on their enemies. Against such missiles, armour is little or no defence though their weight may have some effect on their accuracy. With their native toughness and hardy spirit they are truly impressive warriors, and a fine force for any general to have under his command. Like any archers they are vulnerable if unsupported when attacked by cavalry.
