Naples is bordered by the Papal States to the north and the Kingdom of Sicily to the south-west. It has stable relations with both. While Naples is allied to the Coalition and their allies and hostile to France, it rarely sends troops outside its borders. Should it be destroyed, Naples cannot emerge: a successful rebellion or liberation of the region of Naples creates Italy, instead.
Its access to a port and its close proximity to trading nodes make Naples a good candidate for invasion.
Diplomacy[]
Sandwiched between an ally and a neutral state it practically never declares war on, the Kingdom of Naples is highly passive throughout most campaigns. If the Papal States or the Kingdom of Sicily is destroyed by a faction hostile to the Kingdom of Naples, however, then it may send troops to fight its foes.
Below is a list of grievances/friendships other factions have with the Kingdom of Naples initially. This list is exhaustive; factions that are not listed do not have friendships or grievances (they are neutral).

Military[]
Naples has a fairly standard roster for a minor faction, with no unusual units to speak of. It can field light and heavy cavalry, line infantry, grenadiers, light infantry, and militia, but lacks lancers, elite infantry, and skirmishers. It has the standard minor faction artillery and navy roster.
