Labrys Infantry

Labrys Infantry are a type of infantry unit in a Total War Saga: Troy.

Description[]

Although the historicity of the Amazon people remains uncertain, some archaeological evidence suggests that they were an offshoot of the nomadic Scythians, a tribal culture whose women fought alongside men as equals. Like their Scythian predecessors who may have invented horseback riding, these female warriors would have been skilful horsewomen, employing their awe-inspiring mobility to outflank and harass their enemies. The Amazons, favoured weapons were the bow and arrow, as well as a double-headed axe called labrys, which they were trained from childhood to wield effectively from the backs of horses.
