Overview[]

Lady Mi provides +10 satisfaction (on top of her innately high authority generating +7 satisfaction) for her faction if she is made prime minister, heir or faction leader. This is particularly useful on the hardest difficulty, where all generals start off less satisfied; however, it becomes much less useful in the later game, where sources of satisfaction and characters with high authority are plentiful.

Aside from the boost to satisfaction, Lady Mi is largely generic, with the generic commander skill tree and unremarkable personal armor.

Biography[]

Lady Mi was born in Donghai commandery. She was the little sister of the influential Mi Zhu, who initially served Tao Qian until he died in 194. Subsequently, Liu Bei would become Mi Zhu's new lord, as he took over eastern Xu after Qian's death. In 196, Lü Bu took over the territory, and Liu Bei's family was captured. Mi Zhu supported Liu Bei with all his family's wealth and power; in return, Lady Mi would become the warlord's wife. Soon afterwards, Liu Bei negotiated the release of his family, and Lady Mi disappeared from the records. It is assumed she either died somewhere around 197 or fell out of favour and became a concubine.

In Romance of the Three Kingdoms, she is credited with rescuing Liu Bei's infant son, Liu Shan, during the Battle of Changbang in 208 between Liu Bei and Cao Cao. She carries the baby through the chaotic battlefield before handing the child over to general Zhao Yun, who found the pair near a well. Wounded but unwilling to slow Zhao Yun down or be captured by the forces of Wei, she commits suicide by jumping down the well.
