Light Swordsmen (Danaans)

Light Swordsmen are a type of infantry unit in a Total War Saga: Troy.

Description[]

Eschewing heavy protection in favour of manoeuvrability, Achaean light swordsmen relied on their speed and the versatility of the Bronze Age sword to vanquish their foes. Their high mobility meant they could flank the enemy with ease, or slip past a Trojan spear line to cut heavy infantry to shreds. As a result, they are depicted in Bronze Age art as champions of the battlefield, and many nobles were buried with ornate blades to symbolise their valour and bravery in combat.
