Unique Features[]

Liu Yu isn't a playable faction and therefore doesn't have any unique units, buildings or features.

Starting Situation[]

Rise of the Warlords (190)[]

TW3K Liu Yu 190

190, Liu Yu - Yellow, Enemies - Red

Liu Yu starts off with a relatively large domain, though his territory has shrunk significantly since 182. Yu stands surrounded by the hostile Han Empire on all sides. Expansion will be difficult as powerful armies under Dong Cheng and Du Ji border on the south. Overall, Yu's position isn't great as it stands surrounded in an area already cluttered by three major factions: Gongsun Zan, Yuan Shao and Zhang Yan. Before long, Liu Yu will be attacked by a scripted mission for Gongsun Zan and is not likely to survive this war.

TW3K Liu Yu 182

182, Liu Yu - Yellow

Mandate of Heaven (182)[]

Liu Yu holds a huge domain in northeastern China but is not expected to hold onto this territory for long. Zhang Jue, Zhang Bao and Zhang Liang have instigated the Yellow Turban Rebellion right on Liu Yu's borders, and the vast majority of the Han Empire's forces are located south of this rebellion, not north. As a result, Liu Yu stands rather isolated and will most likely lose a good chunk of his territory.
