Mecklenburg is a faction in Empire: Total War that was cut from the final release of the game. Game files indicate that it would have had a largely generic roster with a few Prussian units.
In real life, Mecklenburg was situated in the area roughly around Hannover and Brandenburg.
Although Mecklenburg was removed from the final version of Empire: Total War, it appears as a faction in Napoleon: Total War.

- The flag used by Mecklenburg is the civil flag of the Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, however, this is anachronistic as this flag was adopted on 23 December 1863.
