Flag of Modena
Modena is a minor faction in Napoleon: Total War. It appears only in the multiplayer version of the Italy Campaign.
General Information[]
Modena controls just its namesake region. It is bordered by Austrian-held Mantua to the north, Parma to the west, Lucca to the south, and the Papal States to the east. It begins the campaign with a strong historical friendship with France and may be a useful ally if it is still independent by the time French forces reach it.
Military[]
Modena has an identical roster to most of the other Italian factions, consisting of foot artillery, line infantry, grenadiers, militia, and heavy cavalry. This puts it at a disadvantage to the likes of Austria and France.
Trivia[]
The flag used by Modena is the pre-1830 flag of the Duchy of Ferrara, Modena and Reggio.
