Pei Yuanshao is a Chinese name; the family name is Pei.


Pei Yuanshao is a fictional unique Veteran hero in Total War: Three Kingdoms. He is a member of Zhang Bao in 182, later joining Huang Shao in 190, before finally becoming a member of He Yi in 194.

Biography[]

Pei Yuanshao is a fictional character made up for the Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel. He appears to be named after Yuan Shao. In the book, he is a former Yellow Turban who abandoned the cause and turned to banditry alongside another former rebel, Zhou Cang. Together, they occupy a small fort with their bandit gang. One day, when Guan Yu passes through the audience, he gets an audience and the two pledge loyalty to him. Zhou Cang goes with Guan Yu, while Pei Yuanshao remains in the fort. Ultimately, he tries and fails to steal Zhao Yun's horse and is killed in the process.
