Punjab is a minor faction in Empire: Total War. It is an emergent nation in the Grand Campaign, while it is already established at the beginning of the fourth episode of the Road to Independence campaign.
General Information[]
Punjab is the only faction in the game that is Sikh. As Sikh religious buildings cannot be built in Empire: Total War, there is no way Punjab can placate populations of different religions.
Unit Roster[]
Punjab has an advantage over some other enemies in the Indian subcontinent as it has access to the excellent Sikh Warriors and Sikh Musketeers.
Trivia[]
The flag used by Punjab is a slightly fictional version of the Nishan Sahib flag, which was the flag of the Sikh Confederacy and the Sikh Empire.
