Sagami is a province in Total War: Shogun 2, Rise of the Samurai, and Fall of the Samurai.
Description[]
Though economically poor, Sagami is rich in history. It is the home of the Hojo clan and seat of the earlier Kamakura Shogunate. Japan's most famous swordsmith, Masamune, is believed to have worked and taught here. It is also the location of Odawara Castle, which was besieged at different times, and with different degrees of success, by famous warriors such as Takeda Shingen, Uesugi Kenshin and Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
Total War: Shogun 2[]

Sagami province has the smithing specialty, which allows the owner to purchase and upgrade Amourers and Weaponsmiths. This makes Sagami an important Hojo province and a highly useful target for nearby clans, especially the Takeda Clan, Uesugi Clan, Tokugawa Clan, and Oda Clan.
Sagami borders Musashi to the north-east, Kai to the north-west, Suruga to the west, and Izu to the south-west.
Rise of the Samurai[]
- Clan: Kamakura Minamoto
- Port: Coastal Village

Sagami is one of the home provinces of the Kamakura Minamoto, and is an important recruiting hub for this faction throughout much of its campaign.
Fall of the Samurai[]
- Clan: Odawara
- Port: Harbour
- Fertility: Barren
- Specialty/Resource: Smithing
Sagami has a smithing tradition, making it an ideal training hub. This is particularly true for the nearby Aizu, Nagaoka, and especially Jozai domains.
Sagami is flanked by railway-bearing provinces, Suruga and Musashi. Controlling these provinces allows for the training of superior troops that can then immediately use the rail network to quickly reach objectives.
