The Spartoi are a type of mythical infantry unit in a Total War Saga: Troy.

Description[]

When Cadmus followed the instruction of the Oracle of Delphi to build the city of Thebes, he and his men encountered a spring guarded by a dragon sacred to the god of war, Ares. After he killed it, the goddess Athena gave him half of the dragon’s teeth and instructed him to sow them in the soil. As soon as he did that, armed soldiers sprang out of the earth: the Spartoi.
