Tarhuntassa is a major playable Hittite faction in Total War: Pharaoh. It starts the campaign in the Lowlands, located in Tarhuntassa. Tarhuntassa’s starting deity is Kurunta.

This faction has unique roster: Native Lowlands units.
In Pharaoh, Tarhuntassa is previously known as Kurunta's Hittites or just Kurunta.

    Campaign[]

    In southern Anatolia lies the city of Tarhuntassa, Kurunta’s own tyrannical fiefdom and a mere fragment of the once-great Hittite kingdom. Driven by cunning and cruelty, Kurunta has only one goal: to relish in the suffering of others.

    Kurunta starts in southern Hatti, near Cyprus. He hates Suppiluliuma and wants to overthrow him - the bronze of Cyprus will help with that. His armies do not shoot, but they make up for it in aggression.
