  • August 29, 2015 - Total War Wiki is presently accepting takers for new administrators and bureaucrats. As the wiki has expanded, the workload has continued to grow, and it has been neither prudent nor especially constructive to retain a staff of one. Let us know what you think here. Applications will be considered solely based on the individual user's contributions, regardless of past relationship with said admin or site policy.

HMS Victory

HMS Victory is a British First Rate Ship of the Line featured in Empire: Total War. Boasting some of the highest firepower and hull strength of any ship in the game, she is a force to be reckoned with on the open seas.

Historically, HMS Victory is perhaps most famous for her participation at the decisive Battle of Trafalgar, where an outnumbered British fleet under the command of Admiral Horatio Nelson decisively defeated a Franco-Spanish fleet led by Pierre-Charles Villeneuve, thereby granting the British and their allies naval superiority for the remainder of the Napoleonic Wars. Due to her venerable history, HMS Victory remains intact in the modern day as the last First Rate Ship of the Line still afloat (and nominally still in service with the British Navy).
