Biography[]

Xianyu Yin was a cavalry officer under Liu Yu. He rose to power during the Yellow Turban rebellion, fighting alongside Gongsun Zan against the rebels trying to conquer Liu Yu's territory. However, when Gongsun Zan rebelled against Yu, Xianyu Yin decided to side with Yu instead of Zan.

The war with Gongsun Zan would be a crushing defeat, though, and Xianyu Yin was one of the few high-ranking officials who managed to escape. He joined Yuan Shao, trying to regroup what remained of Yu's armies. He spent the following years fighting against Zan alongside remaining officers who fought under Liu Yu before.

After Yuan Shao defeated Zan, Xianyu Yin disappears from the history books, and it's unknown what his final fate was.
