Yang Feng is a Chinese name; the family name is Yang.

Yang Feng is a Champion hero in Total War: Three Kingdoms. He is a member of the Han Empire in 182 and 190. He leads his own faction, Yang Feng, in 194.

Overview[]

Yang Feng has strong faction-wide bonuses if he is made prime minister, heir or faction leader: he grants +10% experience gain to all characters faction-wide, and he also reduces retinue upkeep. In the late game, where retinue upkeep can constitute a majority of expenditures, any reduction in such costs would be a significant amount of money saved.

Plus, he's a Bandit, which grants him Mending, allowing you to heal several time during battles.

Biography[]

A former leader of White Wave Bandits, he became a subordinate of Li Jue. In 192, Li Jue and Guo Si seized control of the Han imperial capital, Chang'an. In 195, internal conflict led to a failed assassination attempt on Li Jue by Yang Feng and others, forcing them to leave Chang'an. Zhang Ji later brokered peace, allowing Emperor Xian to return to Luoyang, escorted by Yang Feng and others.

Later, Li Jue and Guo Si pursued Emperor Xian again, but Yang Feng, with the help of the White Wave Bandits and Xiongnu forces, protected the emperor and continued the journey to Luoyang. In August 196, Yang Feng was appointed as General of Chariots and Cavalry. Cao Cao found Emperor Xian and escorted him to Xu, making it the new imperial capital. Cao Cao defeated Yang Feng in November 196, leading Xu Huang to surrender and Yang Feng to join Yuan Shu.

In 197, after Yuan Shu's failed alliance proposal with Lü Bu, Yang Feng and Han Xian turned against Yuan Shu, joined Lü Bu, and defeated Zhang Xun. Yang Feng was later killed by Liu Bei's forces.
