Starting Situation[]
A World Betrayed (194)[]
Yang Feng starts the A World Betrayed campaign at war in Hedong commandery. He is a vassal under Li Jue alongside Zhang Yang, Zhang Ji, and what remains of the Han Empire. He has been dragged into Li Jue's wars with Ma Teng, He Yi, and the Yellow Turban Rebellion. Despite this, Yang Feng finds himself far from the frontlines of any of these conflicts and is actually quite safe. He even has room to expand into the abandoned lands to the northwest of him by establishing order in Anding and Shuofang commanderies. In time, Li Jue and Guo Si will descend into a civil war, at which point Emperor Xian will escape from Li Jue's clutches. When this happens, Yang Feng will become independent, ater which it's anyone's guess what happens to him. He can remain an independent regional power, or be conquered by neighbouring warlords such as Li Jue himself, Ma Teng and Han Sui, or even the bandits under Zhang Yan.
