For the movement, see Yellow Turban Rebellion. For the DLC, see Yellow Turban Rebellion Warlord Pack.

The Yellow Turban Rebellion is a non-playable faction in Total War: Three Kingdoms. It is located across China, with its capital in Dong commandery. The faction appears in 190 and 194. Gaining a rank as a duke, king, or emperor will not rename the faction.

Unique Features[]

The Yellow Turban Rebellion isn't a playable faction and therefore doesn't have any unique units, buildings or features.

Starting Situation[]

Rise of the Warlords (190)[]

TW3K Yellow Turban Rebellion 190

190 - Yellow Turban Rebellion (Yellow), Enemies (Red)

The Yellow Turban Rebellion starts the campaign spread out across China. They are simultaneously at war with the Han Empire under Dong Zhuo and most of the warlords of the coalition, leaving them in a doomed position. In only a few turns time, they will lose most of their territory, the majority of their generals will die in battle, and they will become highly irrelevant. Most likely, the Yellow Turban Rebellion will cling to existence in southeastern China in Kuaiji commandery but will ultimately be vanquished by other factions.

A World Betrayed (194)[]

TW3K Yellow Turban Rebellion 194

194 - Yellow Turban Rebellion (Yellow), Enemies (Red)

The Yellow Turban Rebellion starts the World Betrayed campaign in Northern Jian'an commandery as a shell of its former self. Every single one of its original characters has been killed, including their former faction leader Han Xian. Now led by Wu Huan, it remains at war with what's left of the Han Empire under Li Jue. A more imminent threat, however, is the White Tiger Bandit: Yan Baihu. Baihu will launch an invasion with superior forces that will most likely wipe out the Yellow Turban Rebellion for good.
