For the character, see Zhou Huan

Zhou Huan is a non-playable faction in Total War: Three Kingdoms. It starts the campaign in southern China, located in Gaoliang commandery. The faction appears in 190 and 194. Gaining a rank as a duke, king, or emperor renames the faction to Gaoliang.

Unique Features[]

Zhou Huan isn't a playable faction and therefore doesn't have any unique units, buildings, or features.

Starting Situation[]

Rise of the Warlords (190)[]

TW3K Zhou Huan 190

190 - Zhou Huan (Purple), Shi Xie (Red)

Zhou Huan starts the campaign in Gaoliang commandery. He is at war with governor Shi Xie, fighting alongside Ying Shao and Qu Pan. Zhou Huan is the furthest removed from Shi Xie, having the highest chance of survival. That said, Shi Xie can still defeat all three, Zhou Huan included. Even if Huan survives, he has no realistic way to expand.

A World Betrayed (194)[]

TW3K Zhou Huan 194

194 - Purple (Zhou Huan), Enemies (Red)

Zhou Huan starts the World Betrayed campaign in Gaoliang commandery. He remains at war with Shi Xie, and his situation worsens. With both Qu Pan and Ying Shao defeated, Shi Xie will focus entirely on attacking Zhou Huan. While he has an ally in the fight against Xie, Lin Jun will provide little aid, leaving Zhou Huan to most likely be conquered early on.
