Starting Situation[]
Rise of the Warlords (190)[]
Zhu Fu starts the campaign in Wuling commandery. He stands at the edge where the Han meets the Nanman. He is at war with the Nanman King Shamoke to his west, who is more powerful than him. He has a saving grace, however, as Shamoke also fights Jinhuansanjie to his west, which should split his forces. A one-man faction, Zhu Fu will have to recruit candidates to survive in the long term.

A World Betrayed (194)[]
Zhu Fu starts the World Betrayed campaign in Wuling commandery, with his territory unchanged. His situation worsens rapidly, as he remains at war with King Shamoke to the west, who has since vassalised King Duosi to become a major Nanman power. He is also involved in a civil war against Xing Junya, who has risen up in his territory. Survival as an independent faction seems unlikely, and Zhu Fu might have to become a vassal under the nearby Liu Biao to survive.
